Chicken Noodle Soup and Grandparent TLC

Grandma Libia visited on Wednesday with homemade chicken noodle soup to help Collin and me recover from the stomach bug. Cas conveniently had an out-of-town business meeting the second half of the week and escaped the germs. Collin loved the soup and if you look closely, you can see a leftover pastina -tiny pasta - piece near his eyebrow.

The two good things about 7am on Saturday were my happy boy and this beautiful sunrise -

In the afternoon we took the dogs and Collin to Grammy and Brownie's. Collin and the dogs were supposed to spend the night there last weekend while Cas and I attended a wedding, but instead we were at home harrassing our pediatrician.
Collin was eager to explore the new toys -
And found some of his favorite books. He's very into pointing out the eyes in the books, but has no interest in pointing to his own eyes (or any other body part, though we still practice).
Serious little reader -
He drug the Superhero & Puppy Love book to Grammy and she patiently read them to him over and over. You turn the last page thinking you are finished, and Collin picks it up and hands it back to you . . . and how can you say no?

Get that camera out of my face -

The dogs had a wonderful time too. Last weekend we had everyone in the car thinking the vomiting was over, but five minutes into the ride we learned it was not. The poor, confused dogs didn't understand why they were hauled into the car for a 10 minute ride and ended up back at our house.

Fergie is serious about two things in life - protecting our home and fetching. She wouldn't let the ball out of her mouth in case Rudy or Bruno took it.
