Our growing bear

I bought what is now Collin's blanket basket as a prop for his birth announcement pictures, along with the bear hat. Now at 3 months, it's fun to see how much he has grown in comparison to both. Sitting up with his head reaching to the top of the basket -

And that bear hat is stretching over his head

We're now able to carry him on our hip with extra support - we trust his ability to support his head, though he can't always manage his entire trunk.

Thankfully he still likes to snuggle

We've recently found a ticklish spot under his chin, and he's discovered that he loves to fly.

He's practicing walking, which is difficult enough at 3 months, but impossible in socks on a slippery surface!

He's starting to grab for toys or parents.


He's such a sweet boy and we are incredibly thankful - we often look at each other and say "Can you believe he's our son?!?"
