Everyone had fun swinging around - Collin on Grammy's lap and William with cousin Leah.

Let me also say this is one of my favorite things about my family. My mom and dad's families mesh so well together (Leah being my dad's niece, William being my mom's second cousin). We see each other for holidays, celebrate birthdays and bbqs together. When someone is sick or in need, my family members that have no relation to each other other than through my parents' marriage help each other out. It is such a blessing to be a part of a family that not only loves each other, but truly likes each other as well!
As "B" headed on to spend time with her brother and sister-in-law in Indiana, Collin, Grammy and Brownie told her bye. Collin loves to give "B" hugs, and unfortunately for my grandma, has no sense of being gentle with her broken shoulder.

After breakfast, we headed to Cherokee park, a great area full of runners, bikers, and children at playgrounds.

We stripped Collin down to his diaper to play in the fountain. He was so daring as to get his arm wet, but stayed on the perimeter. He was most entertained by the drainage grate rather than playing in the water.

Then we picked up Cas and Alex and hit some Louisville tourist attractions - starting with the Louisville Slugger Museum. They were able to pose with some famous players' bats and Cas was explaining the pointing strategy of Babe Ruth.

Proud papa photo -

Next to the science musuem just for some pictures in the mirror artwork. Do you see my dad bored and trying to leave the scene? In this picture, there's Brownie, Cas, Collin, Alex, Grammy and me.

We ended the night with a pizza dinner for 25. Here's Victoria, Pam and Cathy, all traveling in from Texas for the wedding.
