On September 1st, we took our first flight as a family of three to travel to Louisville for Alex and Coady's wedding. We knew we'd be meeting my parents at the airport, but when we arrived, there were 15 of us in route to Kentucky on the plane. Collin rotated between family members and did great on the flight.
Thursday evening, we joined 60+ friends and family at the rehearsal dinner. Here was the reason for the celebration, the lovebirds, Coady & Alex -

My Grandma Betty (Collin knows her by the shortened "B") was a trooper. She had broken her shoulder less than 10 days before the wedding, yet decided to pack her bags and board a plane to attend her grandson's wedding. We were all delighted she was there, especially Collin, who yells, "B, B, B" every time he sees her.

Collin had Uncle Walter entertain him and feed him throughout dinner.

We soon headed outside for Collin to burn off some energy and for photos at sunset. Grammy & Collin -

The winner - three big smiles!!

My new sister Coady, with her brother, sister & parents -

The kids & our kid who was over taking photos at that point -

Cas graciously took Collin to bed and I was able to stay and enjoy the toasts, which were sometimes sweet, but mostly funny -

The runner-up officiant, my Uncle Larry -

We had a great night laughing, hugging, eating, and anticipating the big day!
