Stay at Home Wednesday

On Wednesday, we met Grammy, Amber and her kids and her mom, Paula, at the children's museum. I had to set my alarm to get there by 10 a.m., but we did it! I was determined to beat Amber with her three children, though she arrived only minutes behind me.

We headed straight for the toddlers' room and spent two hours exploring. Collin was the second "tot" in the room, but it was soon filled with infants to three-year-olds running everywhere.
Climbing over the mini-hills, Collin got his workout for the day -
Everywhere you turned there was a new toy -
Collin spent a long time at the door, ringing the doorbell, turning on the light, and swinging it open to see himself in the mirror -
We tried very hard to keep things out of his mouth, but failed a time or two -
Playing with Holden -
A toddler-sized Lite Bright -
Reading with Esmae and Grammy -
Trying on costumes -
Most of my pictures at the Children's Museum show his mouth agape in wonder -
After a 3 1/2 hour nap to recover from the excitement of the museum, Collin woke up to more rain. He and Fergie inspected our swamp of a backyard -
Bruno wanted in on the photo action -
Inspired by the obstacles at the museum, Collin practiced crawling on my step workout bench. He went back and forth on the bench for several minutes, with a proud grin -
Then on to the maracas to shake out a tune -
I think he confused the dog beds with the museum's ball pit -
