So judge us that our son is not wearing a helmet. We tried. We bought an infant one and tightened it, but it would not stay on the top of his head. Since we were on flat walking and biking trails, we rationalized that the alligators posed a bigger threat than the potential of a bike crash.

Biking at Brazos Bend
We enjoyed the perfect fall weather on bikes at Brazos Bend State Park last weekend. Collin happily went along for the ride. He did not understand our excitement as we'd point to large, unmoving objects and inform him they were alligators.

At the visitor center on a quick break . . . and about to give Collin his millionth kiss of the day.
