Bubbles of fun on Easter

Easter morning started with Collin's first Easter egg hunt. He was a natural!

An egg at the top of the slide was a delightful surprise!

A helping hand from Dad in our work-in-progress backyard.
After church, Collin's cousins came over for a second Easter egg hunt - this time with candy-filled eggs rather than Cheerios. Nika and Stella show Collin there's more to the eggs than just a colorful rattle. Look silly, chocolate!

Pretty serious about the Easter eggs - Leo was pretty serious about his Easter egg stash as well . . . sneaking off with the basket of eggs he collected until his parents forced him to give, not take, candy from the baby.

Next up was bubbles. Collin found bubbles with cousin Cathy hilarious.

Stella tried to teach him how to blow some of his own, but so far no luck.
Stella and Annie sent hundreds of bubbles off into space -
For Leo to pop

After lunch, Collin's game room was converted back to an adult game room with the reappearance of the ping pong table. Collin & Cas vs. Uncle Libero:

The Easter party ended with a delightful gift from Grammy & Brownie - Crayola's colored bubbles. A mischevious grin -

The lack of bubble blowing skills didn't stop Collin from repeatedly dipping the wand into the bubbles and dripping all over himself and the sidewalk (which one week later is still quite colorful) -

Of course he had to taste them, leaving behind the green mustache as evidence.

A messy, happy boy covered with melted chocolate and green bubbles.
We scooped Collin up with a beach towel because no one volunteered to touch him. And seconds later our bathtub was filled with green water. The colored bubbles were a fun one-time experience!
