I am not going to attempt to remember what happened the first two months of Collin's life. We were amazed by how much we loved this little guy who turned our life upside down, but the first several weeks remain a blur, though a happy blur. Even going through pictures, we have hundreds from the first week and then they pick back up in March.
On Feb 27th, we saw Collin's first real smile. Things got more fun from there, as the grins became more frequent, accompanied by cooing, then bubbles and drooling. As I'm typing this I'm realizing a baby making spit bubbles is only exciting for the parents and grandparents, but I think all would agree it's preferable to crying.
I'm determined to get a better shot of his pout - it is so precious. We've decided he gets his pout and his sneezes from his mom, but he looks like a mini-Cas.

I memorized some Sandra Boyton and Dr. Seuss books and re-learned Raffi songs as we passed our days. Collin slept 8 hours on March 23rd and has continued to sleep through the night since then - hallelujah! With full nights of sleep for everyone, being a parent became even more enjoyable.
Here are some smiling pictures when he turned 2 months old on St. Patrick's Day.
